question on archived hodographs

No Problem Chris,
I forgot to mention the SPC also has hodographs but the archive only goes back till 2000. And then you have to be looking at a day that actually had severe weather somewhere in the country. Here is the link if your interested in looking at more recent events. http://w1.spc.woc.noaa.gov/exper/archive/events/searchindex.html All you gotta do is click on the day of interest and then click on SkewT/Log-P plots. If you need anymore help let me know. :)

Speaking of hodographs, check out the 00Z KOAX hodograph (image will be time sensitive...you can view it on the SPC site for about 8 days after today)

It doesn't show up on the individual wind barbs themselves, but the hodograph seems to suggest that the winds go full circle within the first 3 km and then pull another 225 degrees above that! Quite remarkable! This is directional shear if I've ever seen it.
