possible bug in forum software

I am stumped about something here in the forum. I usually go to the view new posts area near the top of the page when I log on. I can click on each topic so it will no longer be highlighted. I can then log out and log back on and every post will be highlighted even though there were no new posts. Is there something that I'm missing or is this a bug in the software. Thanks for any help...

That happened to me a while ago -- there was a post in B&G that I would open, yet would still say it had a new, unread post. Try clearing your cookies and chase / temporary internet files (or, just clean those associated w/ Stormtrack).

All I have to do is hit refresh.
