I think I still like the tornado from the original movie better, but this looks pretty sweet. I would also not recommend ballooning into a tornado or any sort of updraft. There was a story in the news not too long ago about a balloonist that was pulled into a storm by the inflow winds. He was rocketed thousands of feet upwards before the balloon collapsed and he was sent plummeting to the ground.

What a dramatic and sad story about the balloonist. But on a brighter note, the Oz movie looks like it could be a winner. I've been an Oz fan since I was a boy--read not only The Wizard of Oz but also its sequel, The Land of Oz. I was hooked on the movie, and for years I thought the tornado was real. The engineering of that scene was simply amazing, and I agree: when it comes to cinematic tornado, that one is still the best.
