Euro, GFS and DGEX have pointed towards a potent system coming out of the rockies next weekend. First major snowstorm to hit the northern plains it seems. heaviest snows right now seem to be from NE Colorado to Western Minnesota. Euro model was about 200 miles west of what the GFS run was and 12 hours slower, however newer runs are coming into better agreement with the GFS. Folks in the warm sector will likely see rain and thunderstorms, while folks in the cold sector will likely see blizzard like conditions given the tight pressure gradient.
Still a week away, but it bares some watching.
