New Camera Advice

OK i have bought a camera! We got a bonus from the client in the form of a $200 Best Buy gift card which i used on a Nikon D40 that was on sale for $445 with the 18-55mm lens. Bottom line it cost me about $275 out of pocket.

Sounds like you got an awesome deal to me! Give anything if I could get a steal like that. You'll like the D40. I've tried one out and found it to be very "chaser friendly." And don't forget that UV filter for your lens...inexpensive protection for an invaluable tool. Enjoy!

Thanks, I just thought it odd to have this add on the ST site. But i guess we do not have say in what Google displays for there ads. But maybe another thread needs to be started on that topic. Such as should ST allow ads like swoopo to be in the ad banner. Or other non benifical ad's like so.
