Microburst Visual

My neighborhood has been hit by two microbursts. One in 1996. The second in 2008. Both traveled pretty much the same path doing similar damage. (Roof damage, trees knocked over in an outwards pattern.) Visually though...what does a microburst REALLY look like? The 96 hit around midnight so I never saw it while the 08 hit when I was coming home from a bike ride. My memory recalls a wall of wind .... without much definition. Trees and homes surrounded me when it overtook so it was hard to tell what I was really being hit by until it was on me. Was wondering if there was any GOOD pictures taken out in more open country for me to better grasp of what knocked me over in 08.
