Lake Effect Supersquall!

We just had an epic lake effect snow squall event up here. 76cm of snow (30 inches) came down in 24 hours in the southern part of Ontario. And in some places, it's still snowing!

Roads shut down, cars buried... Total chaos.
This was the most snow I've ever seen come down in one event.

Holy crap! That's a lot of snow. Kind of cool to see that much snow had fallen with such light winds.
 
For a 24 hour snowfall, that's pretty impressive. Seeing the cars literally buried in snow is awesome. Out of curiosity George, was there any thundersnow with this event?
 
wow, you guys got pounded for sure. I wished I could experience snow like that here in Idaho. Good luck digging out. Thanks for sharing the photos...

Fantastic photos there George, especially the car dealership. Out of this world. What I'd give to experience a snowfall like that!
