Satellite images show a very convectively active wave in the eastern Caribbean today. The upper air pattern appears to be ideal for some development if there is a low at some lower level. The outflow over this disturbance has been very impressive all day. If this thing were to develop it is coming along at the wrong time for any landfall possibilities on the east coast. Over the next few days a deep trough is progged to develop along the U.S. east coast. This feature would take any possible tropical cyclone northward between the east coast and Bermuda.
