Was watching the Inside Edition Weekend, they ran a story on storm chasing....

I caught the segment about halfway through and I thought I saw this person's vehicle somewhere on this website.

Who owns a black Xterra with a hailguard for the windshield?!?! That was some incredible video.

I could be wrong, but I thought I saw that picture from one of the report or talk threads from last week.

im pretty sure that'd be Dave Lewison, but I may be wrong. I saw him out on the South Plains, TX tornado with his black xterra and hail guard...think it held up quite well for him as well. Wish I could have seen the story!

Yeah, that was us. Actually, it's not my XTerra...it's my chase partner's (Scott McPartland from NYC). Scott built the hail guards for the side and back windows and I built the retractable windshield guard. I was very pleased with how well it worked, but at the same time was astonished at the amount of damage it received. The hail just about ripped it to shreds.
