I am trying to locate a program on the web that will plot the track of all hurricanes from the last few decades. It is a program I found a couple of years ago, and I subsequently lost my link for it.

It has a pulldown menu (I think) for the year, and a few other selectable options. Once you make your selection, it animates the track(s) you've chosen, and color-codes the track based on intensity. As I recall, it's something you have to download and run locally (not an applet or web-based app).

All this is based on a hazy memory, as it has been a couple of years since I last used it. I just Google'd and came up with nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks Brody.

That's very similar to the program I am talking about. The only differences I can see are that the original program had every storm from every year available, selectable by year, and you could step the tracks forward and backward.

This program has forward and backward controls, but they aren't working too well for me.

Thanks again,
Tony
