Mermentau River Entrance shows its high tide at 6:28 and as you go north the tides become a little later. As if there was not enough bad news K is moving right up the SE La coast the same time as the high tides. I know the tides don't look like a big deal when 20-25 ft surge is possible but it does make a pretty big difference between high tide and low tide.
High tides around Lake Bourn range from 10:28 to 10:58. Almost the exact time the storm is supposed to be over or just E of New Orleans.
