I briefly heard something about this on CNN yesterday, now Drudge is running a big headline on how the Gulf Stream has slowed by almost 30% over the past 12 years.

If its true it seems rather dramatic. I'm all for global superstorms and ice ages. Although, I'm not sure how the record heat in Europe the past few summers ties into this.
