I have received numerous requests for lost keys. It is
not Gibson Ridge Software's responsibility for maintaining your registration key. Most software companies charge for lost key retrieval.
When you receive your registration key email, print it out and store it in a secure location. That way you will be able to easily find it in the event your hard disk crashes or other disasters occur.
If you do need your key resent to you, note that you must request it
from the email address used when you purchased the program. Lost key retrieval requests are the lowest priority items on my list of things to do.
If you no longer have the email address used for the purchase, expect a long, drawn out question and answer session to verify that you actually purchased a program. Requests from free email address (eg.
[email protected]) are given special scrutiny since they are used for 99+% of fraudulent requests.
The best way to avoid all this is to simply print out the registration key email and store it in a secure location for future reference.
Thanks,
Mike
