A couple of questions really.

Having downloaded GRLevel3 2.8 (trial bases), I had a couple of questions.

How does one reduce anomalous propagation?

Using the range rings, what is the distance between the lines?

I am a weather enthusiast. I have heard a lot about this radar software and thought I would give it a try. I am attempting to iron out a couple of wrinkles during the trial period.

Thanks!

From what I understand anomalous propagation is noise from the radar pulses being reflected from temperature inversions in the atmosphere and there really isn't anything you can do to filter it. Though I could be wrong, someone might have a better response to that.

As far as range rings, if you look at the distance from the radar base on the bottom information bar with azimuth and distance in nm, you can roughly determine the spacing between them.

A little late but hopefully this helps.
