Goodland Office No Longer 24/7

I'm wondering if they may have done the same type of thing with the NWS office here (BOU) ?

One thing I've noticed recently, is they no longer post a morning AFD - at most it'll be a short update followed by the previous days afternoon/evening AFD. (this after a 'computer system upgrade' ) that had the office shut down for a couple days at the end of april.

One thing I noticed earlier this week was severe thunderstorm warnings for eastern Kentucky, which usually would be handled by the Jackson office were being issued by the office in Springfield, Missouri rather than an office in closer proximity. I don't know why.

I wonder if the Jackson office was getting a computer system upgrade at that time?

When Denver/Boulder systems were being upgraded, they said forecasts/updates/etc (and if there had been any warnings) would be issued either by the Pueblo, CO office .. or the Minneapolis, MN office (which they said is the tertiary backup office)

During that time I saw one AFD issued by Pueblo, CO office
Another by the Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN office
Then a few days after the upgrade & things had gone back to Denver/Boulder one came through from the College Park, MD office
