Well, an unusually intense high pressure area has set in to our neck of the woods. Of course, as usual for intense highs at this season, this means cold. Tonight, air temperatures are expected to drop to negative Fahrenheits. Right now the air temperature in my neck of the woods is 11,3 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, strong winds are forecasted at the coastal areas, so Wind Chills in some areas could be rather frigid!
However, it is expected to warm up early next week so this cold snap won't last long. As of right now, this is the coldest night of this winter so far. At the same time, snow depth is less than an inch!
