Front Painter

At some point I downloaded Front Painter from Tim's website Weather Graphics. I am just now getting around to playing with it and really want to start using it for drawing my forecast maps. Big problem though. Whenever I try to export my finished map I can't get it to save to a file. I click on "Map", then "save to file", select the place I want to save it, hit "save" and nothing. It just doesn't export it for some reason. I've tried everything I can to get it to export the map and can't get it to work. Anybody use this software or know what the problem might be? I'm sure it's something simple and easy, but it's kicking my ass.

I had the EXACT same problem a few months ago when I tried messing with it. I couldn't get any help from anyone so I just uninstalled it. Seems like it should be a great piece of software, but it's sort of worthless if you can't export/save any images you create (unless you do a screenshot of it).
