What: Free T-Mobile HotSpot Wi-Fi Internet Service
When: Immediately. This will be in effect through the end of the
week, at which time the situation will be re-evaluated.
Where: Locations offering T-Mobile HotSpot service (if open for
business):

-- FedEx Kinko's
-- Starbucks
-- Hyatt Hotels
-- Red Roof Inn Motels
-- American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and US Airways clubs
and lounges



News: In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, T-Mobile HotSpot is
offering free Wi-Fi Internet service at many of its nearly
66 locations in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama which
have not been forced to close due to the storm.

The free service is intended for those who have been
displaced from their homes or are seeking refuge from the
hurricane. All people in the states of Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama needing internet access for
communication purposes may visit any open Starbucks,
Borders Books or FedEx Kinko's location throughout the
state. There will be no charge for T-Mobile HotSpot
service, at these locations, through the end of day
Friday, September 2, 2005. The situation will be
re-evaluated at that time to determine if the free service
will continue

This free offer for the states of Louisiana, Mississippi
and Alabama is for Wi-Fi service only, not T-Mobile
voice services.

Super, I can't believe they charge in the first place, but that's another story.

As many storm chasers know there is free wifi at many motels and hotels that you can access from the parking lots.
