EF Scale to be revised in 2019

Tweets from attendees of the 2016 NWA Severe Storms and Doppler Radar Conference reported that it's been announced that revisions to the EF scale are planned for 2019. Is there any additional information on this anywhere?

I'm sure @Jeff Snyder knows about this. AFAIK he and many others in the EF-scale revision committee have been meeting for at least a year now about updating the scale. Kinda sucks to hear any revisions won't be applied til 2019. Damn bureaucracy.
