I highly recommend! The May 22nd, 23rd, and 29th chapters are fantastic!

Yeah, we've been watching these videos pretty much nonstop since they arrived, that is until yesterday when a friend of ours came by while we were watching "Brilliant", and just had to borrow both DVDs to watch this weekend.

Lots of action, and a lot of interesting behind-the-scenes type stuff. For those of you who demand top-notch production (which is pretty much everyone in this day and age) these DVDs do not disappoint; polished, professional production throughout.

Not surprisingly, my list of must sees continues to grow... This DVD has it all, great production and editing, combines with excellent video to make this the ultimate package. The DVD highlights some of the best days of the year, but also contains some interesting segments from days that many have likely forgot about. A lot of action behind the camera also makes the DVD interesting, I found myself listening as much as watching. I think people from all backgrounds, hardcore chasers, non-chasers, weather fanatics or just the general population will appreciate this DVD!!!

I watched this DVD again last night after Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone enjoyed it! ... of course, we didn't have NFL network, but still. :)

Gotta give my recommendation as well. The editing and production value of the 2008 DVD is fantastic, and the footage itself is equally as impressive.

What else can really be said about this one? Tony did one of the better editing jobs that I've seen in a chaser DVD, and the footage backs it up.

Loved the amount of preparation video he showed in his trip to the south chasing the Super Tuesday chase. Really showed the effort and fun that Tony had in doing that.

As was mentioned before, the May 22, 23 and 29th footage is worth it in itself.

Lubbacca 2008: Brilliant

Tony put out a great DVD. Without giving anything away the "Close Encounters" on the 22nd, 23rd & the 29th really had some WOW footage. It was priceless to relive some of
those events from another perspective. This video encompasses all aspects of chasing and the music & graphics make this solid entertainment. If you did not already order
this video you should put it on your wish list or better yet for other budding wx enthusiast. I watched with my 9 yr old son and he gave it a huge thumbs up!

Two notes...

First of all, I am accepting orders through this week with a promise they'll arrive before Christmas! If you are interested in ordering a copy and want it before Christmas, try and get the order in by Friday at the latest. Orders can be placed using the shopping cart links on my blog.

Second of all, a reminder to the Denver-area folks on the forum about this Friday's Convergence fund-raising event in the Tivoli Building on the Auraria Campus. I will be selling DVDs with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Metro State Meteorology department. Myself and others will be there selling items for the department, so any last second Christmas gift ideas you may be looking for can be done there!

Best 2008 video I've seen so far. The video clips from TWISTEX are awesome. Power poles falling, a Cobalt being lifted onto two wheels by a tornadic circulation....lots of windshield cracks...it's all here. Great video Tony.

Must say, though, that was one of the scariest moments of my life...feeling my ears pop painfully and then feel the car begin to take off. Thank god it didn't fly off into a field, and we got measurements from it!

Good day,

The DVD was awesome.

I have seen many shots from May 23 (I was the one in front of the MM). I was also parked in front of the Cobalt when it was nearly rolled on the 29th!

I was caravaning with the TWISTEX group here and there and it was nice seeing what I was getting from different angles - Great job!
