I received my copy of the 2009 chase DVD by Brian Morganti titled Storms Eleven in the mail yesterday and wanted to pass along a few thoughts. As you well know, 2009 was not a prolific year for storms, but Brian did a very professional job of capturing the best of what was available and created a captivating production which lasts 66 minutes.

In addition to a number of scenes of quality storm structure across the Great Plains, Brian videoed the June 5th LaGrange, Wyoming and the June 17th Gibbon – Aurora, Nebraska tornadoes. This year for the first time, almost the entire DVD is in high definition which adds amazing clarity.

For those of you that are familiar with Brian’s DVD’s from past years, this year’s offering is of the same high standards that he has consistently maintained. For those of you who may not be familiar with Brian, he is a quiet, unassuming man with a lot of storm knowledge who has been chasing for a long time.

This first link goes to the particular page on Brian’s website that describes in detail the contents of Storms Eleven:

The next link goes to another page on his website that describes his creations from past years.

Watching any of his wonderful videos will give you something to look forward to this spring and help forget about the dreary weather outside your window at the moment. Do yourself a favor and order a copy or two.

I just got an email from Brian this afternoon and here is the link to the YouTube video he created today:
