Disappearing LSRs?

Hi all,

I was "armchair chasing" the storms in Iowa by watching GRLevel3 while driving home on 6/29. There was an isolated cell over Harrison County that produced a 2.75" hail report at 2215Z, and a short while later I thought I saw a number of tornado reports on that cell, including at least one report of multiple vortices. There was another isolated cell farther to the north that later produced two tornado reports. However, the SPC storm reports page for 6/29 only has the northern cell's reports. The southern cell's tornado reports don't show up, though its hail reports do. Does anyone know where the tornado reports disappeared to? I thought they would show up in SPC's "unfiltered" list even if they were for some reason deemed to be dubious.

I do think they were Spotter Network reports. I guess I didn't realize that the NWS would "filter" Spotter Network reports, although that makes sense now that I think about it.

They don't "filter" them necessarily. Sometimes they just don't turn them into LSRs unless they have confidence.
