I may have a chance of headed out east for a little bit this afternoon heading out say, around 4PM. I am about 65 miles from Deer Trail So I thought about making that a target. Actually this is just to test to see if I can get a 3G signal out there. It would be nice if there was a little bit of weather going on out in the area too.
Would tomorrow be a better set up? I am not sure how to forecase yet, I have a general idea on how to read a radar.
I am not looking for anything really severe, but perhaps some good CN structure, maybe a decent view of an updraft area. Heck, even some interesting cloud formations.
Thoughts?
