Hope this is not considered too far off topic.
Cyclone Wati passed SE from Queensland towards New Zealand over the weekend. Although no longer a cyclone it became quite a powerful storm off New Zealand's west coast, sending a nice swell to Australia's East Coast.
This is a small 3mb video taken this afternoon ( Monday 27th ). The surf increased markedly during the day from around 4ft this morning to solid 6-8ft sets. The occasional 10ft wave thrown in. It was still increasing in size as darkness fell.
