On February 23 2009, I had the opportunity to chase a rare classic supercell here near Sydney. The best of the structure shots was this particular image:

Check out the radar imagery - definitely a hook showing.
On another chase two days earlier, I intercepted the developing stage of a supercell and the base rotation in one of the updraft was quite significant by Australian standards:

This has been one of the most pathetic seasons ever - certainly one of my worst seasons!
