• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I'm going to make the drive from Kansas City to Denver for ChaserCon 2010 and wondered if others are as well. If so maybe we can carpool and save a few bucks on gas. I have room for four in my Toyota Tundra or if you have something let me know.

Just for fun, I checked the driving fuel costs for driving from Maryland (because I think it would be a cool road trip too), but at 1700 miles each way, and with my ride (Subaru Legacy GT) topping out around 22mph on the highway, it would be $400 round trip, not including local driving. I can fly to Denver for cheaper (not including bag charges). I would consider it if there was someone out this way that would go...but too few chasers in this area (DC region) to even think seriously about it.

But from your area...I guess you could almost drive it in one day (departing at like 5am). That'll cut down on any hotel/motel costs. If I drove on my own...I'd likely do some camping....need the excuse to get the gear out and there are some great parks for me along the way.

im thinking of going if im able to get off work. Im in Omaha, NE. so any one going through there let me know i may be intrested in riding together to save on gas

Im taking the train with a couple other chasers, its cheaper than flying and driving [165 bucks round trip.]

Ive never ridden on an Amtrak train and have always wanted to take one across the country. Im told its a fun and unique experience plus there is a dining/liqour car! So the 18-19hrs should be a good, fun and relaxing time!

Others should consider that option as well as a potential way to travel.

My husband and I will be driving from Indianapolis, I70 route. So after all that, wont be taking the train!

I will be driving out from St Joseph/Kansas City area goin west on 70 on that Thursday! I already have James Skivers in the passenger seat but would be willing to drive along with anyone who is headed out on Thursday! Also, If anyone is still needing a room at ChaserCon, please let me know via PRivate Message! My chase partner is not gonna make it so I would like someone to split the room with! Thanks!

I'll be taking I-70 out to Denver. Meeting another guy in Salina, KS that will be driving along with us so if anyone else wants to drive along together that would be great. Just let me know by private message and where we would meet!
