I've seen some of Shane's videos and they are quite good nonetheless. Photography and video is all about the light, IMO, and from somewhat of a safe distance, you can capture the sun, shadows, rainbows, contrast, all of it, to come up with some beautiful stuff. At the Denver chaser conference, the vendors had some great and large photos that showed the merits of being back a bit, without a threat to life and limb.
