Best Vehicle For Chasing

Decided to pick up a Chevrolet Silverado as my new chase vehicle, after the Impala got totalled. Of course other factors went into picking the truck instead of an SUV type vehicle, mainly family won't be asking me for rides and such because they can't fit. :)

But I am looking forward to getting it setup for next spring.

Just spotted almost the same exact truck today. Still had the stock headlights, bumper, but did have the nerf bar runner on the side. It also didn't have the Yakima/Thule rack on top or any graphics on the windows. But it did have the same black paint, wheels & tires. I couldn't grab the camera quick enough though.

OK...I found it...the ultimate chase vehicle.

See, I figure with all the chasers now just in one big CF...why we take different vehicles is beyond me. Why don't we just all pile into one vehicle and chase. Can you image how cheap the gas is split 100 ways. Hotel costs, etc. would be down right cheap. I bet we could all chase for around $200 for an entire 2 to 3 weeks...if we use this:

I reckon going through the drive thru for some fast food might pose a problem....:D

Would love to see how that car corners. :)

Had a new Chev Tahoe this season, and flat-out loved it. I'm tall, (maybe you are too) and there was plenty of legroom. Drove thru some really wicked weather a time or two, and it performed beautifully. The new LS smallblock V8 that they've put in that kicks butt. Mileage was quite good, I felt.

Just think - get everyone in three of those, and you could eliminate all the chaser convergence in Oklahoma in May! :D

Decided it was time for a new chase vehicle, so I just purchased a new Toyota Highlander and I absolutely love it. Plenty of room, not only for equipment but for people, great gas mileage, now I just need a good chase to test it out.
