Sounds great and I will be looking forward to seeing it in action. Thanks in advance.
My Droid X was supposed to come with it as that was one of the big advertising points. I got it the day it came out. No Android 2.2. Still no update to 2.2 either. They're saying Mid-Late Sept for 2.2 for the DX.
Easy way to get 2.2: ROOT! Google it, its the best thing I ever did to my Droid Eris. Im running the KaosFroyo Android 2.2 ROM, and it is amazingly FAST and smooth, havent had any problems with my phone since I rooted.
Can someone please point me to a good Android FAQ? (My idea of a cell phone is a $20 pay-as-you-go LG bought from Frys/Kroger.) An app of this sort just might push me to plonk down the $ for a 'proper' smartphone.
Mike, is there a minimum configuration of some sort that the phone must meet in order to run your app?
Thanks
I'm in the same boat, Greg, and trying to figure out the best choice among all the variables. Want to stay with Verizon, which may make the Incredible a good choice, but I want to hear other opinions--am following the other thread as well.
