For those of you following the story my radar App for android will be out in roughly a month I have finalized and signed the contract.
• Features to note
• Google maps...
• Base reflectivity...
• Base velocity...
• Location aware software including direction of phone orientation in relation to the storm
• Warning polygons...
• Ability to switch radar sites...
• All US radar sites A-Z unlike some apps
• Oh and most importantly its actually raw rendered radar images not the current Junk out there.

Nice! Just picked up a Motorola i1 about an hour ago so count me in on your "first buyer" list...

I am really hoping to be able to chase with my droid and my Motorola 10" tablet that is supposed to come out very soon :P

makes me wish I had a droid. :(

do you know if it will be or have you looked into your app working with the droid tablet that samsung and verizon are set to release this winter? Looking into one of those for chasing.
 
Nice...very nice. I know Adroid folks have been complaining for a while now.

But that mockup looks like GR3 over layed onto a Phone. Any screenshots of the actual app?

Nothing yet tyler I will post them when I get them.
When a good 10" tablet comes out I will be the first in line and will working getting it optimized for the larger screen I really think there could be alot of people interested if I could get the right press at the right time.
 
Any word on a name for this app yet, or is that top secret? Also, will Spotternetwork be integrated or will I need to run that separately with your other app?

That Moto tablet is gonna be nuts! I cannot wait for it later this year. Supposedly running Android 3.0 with a 2ghz chip! The iPad will be put to shame with this one...
 
This thread is the first I heard of that tablet so I started looking it up. :)

Dont hold your breathe on Android 3.0. They cant even get 2.2 right. lol

My Droid X was supposed to come with it as that was one of the big advertising points. I got it the day it came out. No Android 2.2. Still no update to 2.2 either. They're saying Mid-Late Sept for 2.2 for the DX.
