Basic Meteorology at Community Colleges

So now that I'm fully hooked on storm chasing to the point that I almost dashed out into Nebraska today to get on the setup there, I think it would be very beneficial to me to take a meteorology course or two at a local community college so I gain a better understanding of what all goes into a forecast, and so I can make better forecasts myself (right now, it's basically "be in this area by 3:00 PM then start looking for towers").

With the season winding down, although I'm hoping for one or two more nice Colorado setups, now seems like a good time to start looking into fall courses and preparing for next year. I know we've got plenty of Denver locals on Stormtrack; any recommendations as far as a good community college meteorology program around here to look into? Or, with the amount of material available on the web, is taking a couple of community college courses overkill?
