Applebees and severe weather

Justin Teague and I stopped for lunch at the Applebee's in enid, OK on May 24th. The rest of the day is history. I am definately down for eating lunch at Applebee's when chasing if the results are always the same. I love their quesadilla towers and buffalo wings.

Support your local Great Plains businesses.

I tend to avoid the chain restaurants when out in the plains. Try to give the local guy some of my money. They put up with us chasers, and certainly could use the money.

I also look at the health side.....chain restaurant's menu isn't the best...and all we need is more sodium and fat to inch us closer to heart attaches and diabetes.

If it's too late, and none of the local folks are open, I just grab some food from the cooler in the back. Ham sandwiches sound real good at 1am after a good long chase day.
