Wow, thanks everyone for all of the great responses. Great stuff!!! Many of you have dealt with these things in the past and some probably are now. I do not dwell on these experiences all day every day. Usually when the storms start forming and really start rolling, the excitement is definitely there but, the obsession is just not as strong as it once was.
One thing we all can agree on is, we cannot control the weather. No one made that deadly tornado form. We can be witnesses to natures fury and beauty and thats it!!
I will continue to chase these storms. I will continue to make reports, and I will continue to learn that mother nature can be so beautiful and yet become quite the bitch.
One day the passion will return.
