A Fond Farewell to 2006

Well, what the heck then: since we're wish-casting here, I'll just add northern and central Indiana to Dave's Illinois and we can have a new lower Great Lakes corridor. All those beautifully chaseable flatlands...might as well put them to good use.:D
 
I can simply hope after such a crappy Spring 2006 that we'll have a decent Spring 2007. I'm hoping the year stays nice and quiet through March and slowly lights up through April and makes a big bang in May and June (like 2003-2005). Unlike 2006, where it banged all the way through April with fast-moving supercells, and left everybody hanging with high-based, moisture-starved convection through late August (until the two SD days which gave a bunch of chasers tornadoes, but not broke ones that needed to spend +$400 to chase there like myself).

I just hope for a normal late April through June for 2007.
