Down here in Destin, Florida. Took a few pics around the area this morning. Lots of wind and rain.

The black clouds look particularly dashing.
Were these strataform ( drizzle) instead of convective?
Did you receive any lightning during the squalls?

We had no lightning here in Destin. I didn't observe any. Not a lot of drizzle down here. We had heavy rain squalls then the sun would come out. Winds gusted to 50or so on the beach. It was an impressive little system. There was a lot of damage here on the beach. I am going to post some pics of that tomorrow.

I wasin dauphin Island all night for Cindy and I observed a massive amount of lightning in that outter squall.

amazing. Witnessed some surge that breached the dunes and flooded the main roadway.
