Great story! 9-year-old Branson is a hero indeed! One thing I do wonder about is why they were trying to flee in their truck. Usually not a good idea, especially after dark, unless you live in a mobile home or are camping.

An absolutely amazing story of heroism. Branson's story reminds me of another 9 year old, Tristan Coxwell, who saved his mom's life after she was struck by lightning inside their home back in July 2009 (see link to an article about it below).
