Anyone willing and able to provide real time data on the Tstorm north of the Pomona/San Dimas CA near Los Angeles? A flash flood warning has been issued. The base looks like it's 12-15k. I'm curious what the tops are and other details.

Chris,

Since I live here in SoCal, too, I'd be happy to provide you realtime data on future storms.

Thanks Will.

I remember than storm seemed to to do less than we expected as they were hammering the TV broadcasts with warnings. The last time I remember getting hammered by a monsoon storm like this in the Pomona Valley was roughly 10-12 years ago on Sep 2 or 3, right in that area. Some stuff built up to what I call 'flight level 430' over the San Bernardinos and started moving southwest. There was some wind damage in this area and lots a rain in a short period. It seems monsoon activity getting into the basin, at least this far west, is nowhere near as frequent or as strong as it was before about ten years ago.

I'll meet up with you sometime for sure.
