Over here in BC, we had a couple of strong cells move through. Heavy rain, hail and high winds nocked out power to some of the west coast. A number of waterspouts were reported out by Vancouver Island. As far as I understand, Enviroment Canada did confirm the waterspouts.
Again, Enviroment Canada was somehow caught off guard and did not issue and watches or warnings for the provence. They didn't even forcast this kind of weather until after it started. As far as I could tell, there was plenty of warning with that stalled front. Go figure. :roll:
