Somewhat of an interesting setup developing on Monday across portions of E. KS, MO, and IL for tomorrow. An area of low pressure is forecasted by both the NAM and GFS to move NE along a cold front. The winds near and east of the Low should remain backed a little out of the south across a good chunk of Central IL through early evening. With ehi near 1-2 , cape near 2500, and li's near -6, it should be sufficient for severe storms (a few supercells possible early on) to develop in the early afternoon and last through early evening. The tornado threat appears very low ATTM and should be mainly across east Mo eastward into Central IL with any supercells that might manage to develop early in the afternoon. SPC has that area hatched for a slight risk for day two. More than likely its just going to be a multicellular storm mode especially later on in the late afternoon through early evening time frame. It has been a while since I have chased and am getting a little SDS so I might venture out after I get off work at 2:30 and see what develops. It is of course not set in stone yet about tomorrow, but it at least does have my interest somewhat since I would only have a 2 hour drive at most from where I live. :)

Tonights NAM looks like crap compared to this mornings run. Going to sit this one out and save my gas money for another day. Maybe next time....
