Rawlins County, KS severe storm. This was only one county west of yesterdays chase/catch.

Microbursts occurred in metro Wichita. Jabara Airport (AAO) had 45kt gusts (52mph). We had 50-55 mph winds in Willowbend, blowing over just about every trash recepticle (some into the middle of streets) as well as twigs and small branches. East High School (KSN Weatherlab) had a gust to 51 mph.

The storms formed on a southwest-moving gust front from storms that had formed earlier in the afternoon around the Butler-Chase Co. border.
