We did in fact see some activity in SW Manitoba this afternoon, but not nearly as widespread as I'd hoped. That being said, there were several vigorous pulse storms that let go of some drenching rains, and some nickel-sized hail just outside of Ninette. However...GRL3 shows a line of very intense cells moving northeastward from ND into southern Manitoba tonight, where they'll encounter 70 degree Td's.
Spotters have just reported a tornado touchdown at Ruso, 41 miles south of Minot. Guess I should have been further south.
