Not too impressive visually, but the fact this occurred over downtown Boston is a rather
rare sight due to 1) tstms weaken frequently from the marine influence and 2) haze and
low LCLs prevent good viewing conditions most of the time.

TVS indicated per BOX 88D. Straight line wind damage occurred in the city. I tried to
intercept this storm from the N (I live NW of the city), so I never got a good view of the base.

Also, I noted in srn NH this same aftn, Derry, a town SE of Manchester (MHT),
had svr hail three times from three separate storms in the span of 3 hours per GYX.
Golfball at 359p, penny at 541p, and nickel at 640p EDT. I don't know if it was
the same location each time, but multiple reports at slightly different times for
the first and third storms were the in LSR. Not sure how common this is in areas outside
of New England, but hail three times in the same town in the same day is pretty darn
good for these parts, let alone svr hail each time!
