Tornado warning just posted for Cayuga and Seneca Counties in west-central New York.

Looks like there is a TOR warned cell SW of Syracuse, NY in Cayuga county, NY. The storm looks very intense with a nice hook echo! This storm is moving SE at about 50mph. I wouldn't be surprised if that thing puts down a tornado. It maybe a close call for place like Ithaca & Cortland. I have lots of family in that area so I will inform them and hopefully the storm will lose its intensity before it reaches the areas where my family lives.

Lots of damage and tornado sightnings in seneca NY with that TOR supercell.

At 6:30pm EDT, I am now sitting at an overlook in East Greenbush, NY waiting to see if more storms will roll through and spin. There is nasty looking cell with MESO markers rotation in Washington County, NY with more cells poppinh along the Mohawk Valley WNW of KALB. Around 1 hour ago, I saw a Supercell that is now going throiugh a Western Berkshire County, MA and when it was over Rennselaer County, it appeared to have some wall cloud formation trying to occur. Terrain messed up that chase.
