Interesting a TOR warning from GLD saying a tornado reported at Colby. There really isn't anything on radar at that location. Sheriffnado?

My guess, landspout. These was a significant boundary intersection there at the time of the report, I am guessing there was at least some TCU on that boundary, so a spout seems like the most likely scenario.

Looks like a developing derocho is going to rock northeast Kansas this evening. Joseph Tyree and myself experienced 70-80mph winds 15 miles east of Concordia, KS. The strong winds continue (>30mph) nearly 40 minutes after the initial gust front moved through. Temperatures immediately ahead of the MCS were in the upper 80s and are now in the low 60s. This MCS has a lot of momentum and is in an environment which should sustain it for several more hours.
