Might have a decent shot at some severe storms/supercells over the high plains of Colorado into western KS today. Cape values up to 4,000 ahead of a dryline and 30kts of bulk shear seems favorable for a few supercells that might be able to break through the cap. I'm initially targetting Lamar Colorado so I can head east, north, or south depending on where storms seem to want to fire.

Edit: Could a moderator replace one of the OKs with a TX?

The 700mb temps in the Tx panhandle are very stout but are cooling and most models break the cap before 0z. SPC Mesoanaylysis as of 1pm shows cape of 6500 and LI's of -8!!! LCL's are finally dropping to under 1500.

Amarillo was doing a special 1900z sounding but havent seen what it showed yet.

edit*** As of the 2pm analysis it showed cape of 7500 with LI's of -12 in the eastern pnahandle!!!! SRH is at 150. ***
