• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Been driving ALL day and still can't seem to catch up with this cell north of me. Stopped for a quick data look in Ft. Benton, MT. One heck of a structure north/east of me, but it's hauling it!

I think that's Hill County north of me that's under a T-stm warning.

Just might catch up with this one yet! This is really high desert country out here. It looked farther away than I think it is. Will continue NE on 87 to intercept.

Sitting just east of Rapid City SD. I'm hoping some upslope on these hills can get it done. You can see cu forming directly ahead of the hills on satellite now. Pretty cool.

I agree with Mike. I am near Wall, SD heading west on I90. I think with the extreme CAPE and suffient moisture once the storms fire and move off the hills they will become surface-based and likely tornadic with guerilla hail. There are also some cells developing in the mountains out in Wyoming as they move east they will also become surfacedbased, but moisture is as plentiful in that region. So we will position east of the hills maybe more of a northeast direction. Good luck to all chasing today!

That cell in north-central Montana west of Glasgow is a monster! That thing has to be dropping some tremendous hail. DBZ core is amazing. Strong southeast winds can be seen on radar just roaring into that thing.

That supercell is a monster. 2 Distinct TVS indicators. 4.00" hail markers too. Storm is isolated with dbz values in excess of 80. This is going to be a long lived monster. Watch out Glasgow, MT.

My GRlevel 3 has a 243 kt TVS on that thing! That has to be an error! Looks like it's becoming outflow dominant though. Nasty bow echo entering Glasgow!

In the park at Devil's Tower, mammatus starting to spread over the tower. I like. Storm looks like garbage though.

Glascow, MT ASOS measured 62mph winds. 3.00" hail and lots of wind damage in the city itseld. Reports of a tornado sighted too. NWS Glasgow had 2" diameter hail at the office.

Looks like the monster is starting to die down a bit. Down to about 60 dbz now. No more SVR/TORs on it, but still some MESO markers. Whoever tracked this thing today probably had a great show!

As I speak, sitting in my hotel room in Keystone SD on holiday with the family, wife wont let me go out:mad: ! But a very nice lighting show.

I was in Custer SD about 3 hours ago and did get some small hail..
