Kind of surprised no one has even been discussing the convection ongoing over the northern Plains. Thought I'd start a NOW thread.

That's one small tornado watch remaining over South Dakota!

Convection appears multi-cellular / linear on radar throughout most of the Dakotas and Nebraska.

Outside of the NOW area indicated, but this one's too funny to pass up.

Appears there have been tornadoes in Florida and North Dakota today. More isolated cells in north-central Kansas. Nothing too impressive on radar at the moment, but watch remains in effect for a small part of central North Dakota.

Southwestern Manitoba has been seeing a lot of activity since mid afternoon today, including funnel clouds and golf ball hail.

There hasn't been anything remarkable yet in my immediate area. Environment Canada has us under a tornado watch currently, but it is all linear crapvection from what I can see, and I remain unimpressed.

If there is a good lightning show tonight I'll try to grab some pics.
