6/02/07 NOW: TX

About 20 miles south of Plainview heading toward this beast...outflow extends an INCREDIBLE distance to the east of the updraft...gorgeous backsheared anvil as Tim mentioned...textbook looking CB.

Looked like a brief couplet a few scans ago on that cell. Not as impressive looking now.

TOR warn. on that storm now... seemed to be more organized ten minutes ago as opposed to now though.

Just received a call from Jason Persoff at 10:10 EDT who is on that cell west of Plainview. He has seen at least two tornadoes. He ended the call as another funnel was forming.

It looks like littlefield is going to get slammed here soon. past couple of scans have been showing a nice hook.

It looks like Ropesville is now in the path, or just West of that town by a few miles. If your still following that storm South on 385 out of Levelland you probably have a pretty good view of it right now.
