Headed out to CDS today, hoping for some pretty storms. After heading north to I-40, the storms that had fired down around Turkey turned more northeasterly. I stopped near Sayre to take some pics of this unexpectedly pretty storm.

Not too bad for a somewhat short jaunt.

I was on this storm near Texola and Erick, although my pictures of it are not ready yet (good old fashion film camera!). It never developed a really low base, although at one point I saw anticyclonic rotation at the south end of the curved updraft. It almost looked like this storm was trying to be a LP bow echo - if that's possible. :)
