Today may be an interesting day along the dryline. There's a surface low in SE Kansas. The dryline extends from the eastern edge of the Texas Panhandle southward and then southwestward to just west of Monahans, Texas. This should shift eastward through the day. Based on the ETA, the best backed winds will extend from Childress southward by 00Z. I'm still waiting for the RUC to update. Upper level support is better in northern Texas. I am concerned about AM convection. I'll probably wait in Abilene for more data but I like this area, maybe slightly to the east.
